Hi, here's some notes on what needs to be shown tomorrow.

For those that are going to find textures, please follow this format:

*Blue box: your textures/picture reference

Descriptions might change according to how specific you want to be and according to character.

And of course use the confirmed colour thumb, not a black and white image in the middle.

Btw please do one set of textures for all the characters.

Also, please meet up in college at 7.30 am sharp, so we can do a few adjustments/file compilation before the lecturer arrives.

To whomever it concerns, please bring your character sheets(a 3/4 view of character, orthography, key poses and expressions) too.

Here's the sketches of the living room to use for colour thumbs. The lower 2 pics are some notes on what all those furniture are, in case you dunno. BTW my sketches of the living room consist of a set of 4 pictures, all of different angles of the room, so it's better if you colour all of them, since some furniture can only be seen from certain angles.

-sketches for the cleaning items(broom,feather duster), chicken toys (preferably a stuffed toy and a storybook), the neighbour's house(for the voodoo scene),the lighthouse manual( but for a lighthouse in the shape of another animal, not a fish), ships (for the pileup, and the main ship that kills the man), plate and cutlery for egg eating scene

-character ortho,lineup and material choice

For everyone, you can use this layout for your storyboard, a3 size(basically the same as a4, just higher resolution if we want to print at the end. You can write down some notes like the camera movement, framing and transition type in the margins below the boxes.

For Terence, here's the rough plans for scene 3,4 and 5 for you to redraw in storyboard form.Sorry,the susunan in blogger terbalik already, so start from the bottom page.

Also, remember we will be staying overnight in college today(Friday,17th July) to finish up whatever we have to present tomorrow, then only go back at 10am Saturday after our presentation.We're supposed to meet at 6pm, but Najib and I will be a bit late, around 9 or 10 cos we have to be somewhere else, so, yeah, bring your tablets, food, drinks and bantal busuk if you need them.

Plus, don't forget to scan all ur sketches and bring to college for Yilyn to compile for presentation.

Hey people,remember this list? Guess what, we have to do all that and show Aik Sern NEXT WEEK. So really, give it you best effort this week ok? Animatics is due in 2 weeks time.

Basically he asked us to show our Storyboard, Schedule and Art Direction next week.Class is 1 hour next week, 1 on 1 basis with Aik Sern. Have to book a time with Yong Kang.

Gloomy weather when the man is sitting on the lighthouse and feeling lonely.Of course we need to make some parts day and some parts night also to show the passing time. But generally this sad rainy feeling.

The night when the chicken got thrown out of the lighthouse. For the exterior of the lighthouse.Dark, cold and super stormy.

And the interior will look like this.(When he woke up in the living room until when the ghost was scolding him.)(warm, friendly and comfortable)

For day scenes.(Warm)

For morning scenes.(warm, bright, optimistic)

References for the fist scene outside the lighthouse. I like the puffy cotton candy clouds and pink/blue colour scheme. Looks very peaceful.

Painterly style. But not so yellow lah, this is like evening scene already.

Good contrast.
